Downgrading IOS 15 on 4.3 Virgin Wii - 4.3 Work Around

Okay all credits go to WiiCrazy from GBATemp.

Do not attempt before awaiting confirmation from a few people who are protected with bootmii as boot2!

1. Grab WiiPower's latest TBR (1.13) from wiibrew which contains latest revision numbers here: http://www.mediafire.com/?qzmqirhnuyz
2. Download lowest revision of IOS 41 from NUS using NUSD (such as v2835)
3. Install IOS 41 using wad manager, it's a ninty signed IOS and it will gracefully install with non-trucha IOS
4. Use WiiPower's TBR to downgrade IOS 15 as usual... just select the IOS to be used as 41..
5. After downgrade, patch and install IOS 36 as usual...
6. Get rid of Korean IOS 41...
7. Do whatever you do with your trucha enabled IOS 36.

Apparently with this patched IOS36 you can install priiloader, enable the disable block JODI hack, install older version of IOS34, then run the hackmii installer and install HBC(?)

I don't know if it is safe but so far if there are any people out there that has 4.3 test this out!

Hi,

I have 4.3u virgin Wii. I have not soft modded before.
Can i use the above guide to softmod to install HBC.
If yes, can you please let me know the steps to do so,(more elaborate than provided above), as i am new to this Wii modding world.

:w: Amz! We hope you enjoy it here!

Yes you can softmod with this. There is also another guide that is more recent. You might want to go to that topic.
