Having a problem with some games not working please help

I'm having a problem with " Metroid Prime Trilogy " and " Wii Sports Resort " loading in USB Loader CFG on the metroid it you only get to load one game and its metroid prime 2 ECHOES and it looks to start to load and then it resets the WII and in WII resort it just keeps resetting the Wii when you try to run it. can anyone help ?

what firmware are you running? There is some configs that need changed for these games. I am pretty sure Kboxer has resolved these issues.

I'm using the most recent firmware and i also updated Usb loader cfg to the recent 5.0

I have solved both these game issues several times on the site. Please look first if you can't find them let me know. I have both of them games working for me.

You have to use the alt.dol feature within the USB loader. This game uses different .dol files (the game is actually 3 games). You should be able to just select this option in cfg loader.

I have not tried to play this game, nor have I ever used cfg loader, so unfortunately i cant give any more info. Kboxer is right though, check the forum. It has been discussed a few times

As mstrkrft says the alt.dol function is the way to go with MPT. As for Wii Sports Resort I have definately posted how to get it working somewhere here. In fact can't even remember what I did except I know you have to play the video thru first I think again thru alt.dol function then dol from disc and then select player dol. Once the video has played thru I think the Wii freezes. Click reset and then load the game up normally.

and on wii sports resort u need to have motion sensor plus attachted to the controler to boot it

Cool got the wii resort working but i still cant get the MPT working i tried using alt.dol (disc) and it loads then i goto select my Mii then i choose a game if i start it it will goto load then the Wii reboots to home screen. i tried looking up to find posts on this but still not working . oh and when i goto select it on USB CFG the first thing comes up saying that i have to change the CIOS because its got known problems with CIOS249 rev14 .

cios14 is the most stable and current. I have metroid prime but not played it. I"ll see if I can test it.
