Game issue

I dl'd a game that turns out its Pal. Found the first actual torrent for Crash - Mind Over Matter. But I'm worried about trying it. Will it work with the softmod? I'm from usa but I soooo wanted this game for my son. His birthday was yesterday and I was going to surprise him this morning cuz it just finished dl'n.

Does anyone know of a link for a copy of ntsc??

The CFG loader blocks updates. You can use brickblocker to run the iso against so it blocks the updates. IN a sense, yes you can. Just change the video setting to "FORCE NTSC".

Running PAL games on a NTSC console is fine except sometimes the PAL games have an update in it. DO NOT UPDATE. It will brick your wii.

As Sentinelace wrote, run it with "FORCE NTSC"

I am not sure how to force ntsc. so i'm dl'n the game linked above. thank you for all your help. hopefully this works. I've still got the pal version one tho just in case.

question, is it at all possible to save game covers or run wad games on/off the external?

You set that in "options" in the channel you are using. Not sure which one you are using. Neogamma or a usb loader? Cover art is stored on the SD card. Don't the store or can be stored anywhere else at this time.

If you are useing usb loader then you shouldn't ahve to worry about updates as whatever you use to place games on your external hard drive removes the update partition which thus makes it impossible for a game to update.

oh so i can use pal or ntsc? I've got a game thats not working right. Monster Tri 3. It starts out normal but once you get to the point your goign to load and start the actual game the screen goes black and starts making a sound. then you have to force a restart. its ntsc

Im having trouble figuring out this crash game ... i figured it'd be like the ps2 game but its starting out completely diff i can barely move him. any clues on this game?
